2Africa is a collective of companies on a mission to lay the foundation for a robust internet ecosystem through the deployment of fiber optic submarine cables across Africa and the Middle East.

They knew that raising awareness among tech media and journalists was key to help spread the word, as well as keeping the public informed of the progress.

Opportunity

We saw this as a great opportunity to craft a captivating website that clearly communicates the initiative's objectives, key players and progress. We identified the need for a user-friendly map feature and news section, giving 2Africa staff the ability to easily update and maintain the website themselves.

We knew that the first step in this process was to establish an impactful brand and visual system that positions 2Africa as a responsible global citizen, driving economic growth and progress.

Design toolkit

We developed a comprehensive brand toolkit and image library to effectively tell the 2Africa story, complete with guidelines for our creative partners. We even went on-location during a cable landing event to capture dynamic imagery for the photography library.

Results
